The Teryaq app (ترياق)
Delete your Teryaq (ترياق) account
How to delete the account you use in the Teryaq app and on the patient web portal, and what happens to your information afterwards.
In the app
- Open Teryaq and sign in.
- Tap the gear icon on the Home or Profile screen to open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Read what is deleted and what is kept, then enter your password and tap Delete my account to confirm.
On the patient web portal
- Sign in to the patient portal.
- Open Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account.
- Enter your password and confirm.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in: your email address and password.
- Your notifications in the app and on the portal.
- Any password-reset codes.
- Your sign-in sessions on every device, so you are signed out everywhere.
- Your devices’ push-notification tokens, so no more notifications arrive.
This happens straight away and cannot be undone.
What the hospital keeps, and why
Your medical record is not part of your login. The hospital keeps your visits, diagnoses, results, prescriptions and documents, and your invoices and payments, for as long as the law requires: hospitals must retain medical and financial records, and your doctors need your history to treat you safely.
- Appointments you have booked are not cancelled. Contact the hospital to change or cancel them.
- The hospital’s security log keeps a note that the account was deleted, without your email address.
Coming back
You can register again at any time with your file number and date of birth. For questions about your medical record, contact the hospital.
Can’t sign in?
Reset your password first with “Forgot your password?” on the sign-in screen of the app or the portal, then follow the steps above. If you need help, write to us at abdullah.sa.albadi@gmail.com.
Staff accounts
The hospital issues and closes its staff accounts — please contact the hospital’s administration.
